Ain Shams University students at Cairo International Airport in preparation for travel to visit Dubai Expo

(19) talented students from Ain Shams University traveled on Egypt Air lines, to attend the activities of Expo 2020, which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at the university, Prof. Dr. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of International Students and Mobility office, and Ms. Reham Al-Atifi, Director General of the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs and the supervisor of the student delegation representing the university.

Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir explained that a meeting was held with the students prior to their travel to give them some recommendations and advice that will help them benefit from this unique experience that gives them the opportunity to open up to different cultures and communicate with young people from different countries of the world, in addition to clarifying all procedures related to travel, accommodation and the visit program.

It is worth noting that Expo 2020, an international exhibition hosted by the Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates from October 1, 2021 to March 31, is the first exhibition of its kind to be held in the Middle East, and Egypt is participating with a distinguished pavilion in the exhibition.

Expo 2020 Dubai is an incubator for new ideas from around the world, with the exhibition entitled "Connecting Minds and Creating the Future".

The exhibition's subtitles such as Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability inspire the world to protect the planet, explore new horizons and build a bright future.
