The applying for the unified announcement of the scholarship plan begins today and ends on the eleventh of next April

The Scholarships Welfare Office at Ain Shams University announces the statement of the Central Administration of Scholarships at the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education in partnership with the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) regarding the announcement of the unified annual program (Part Two) for the scholarship plan for the fifth year 2021/2022 of the eighth five-year plan 2017-2022, which includes the Egyptian Japanese Initiative for Education (EJEP) program with the Japanese side.

Faculty members wishing to apply for scholarships must apply electronically through the electronic platform of the Central Administration of Scholarships with their requests for a scholarship during the period from Saturday 12/2/2022 until Monday 11/4/2022 as follows:

1-Doctoral foreign scholarship: A doctoral scholarship to obtain a degree from an educational institution in a country in the world, and its duration ranges from 3 years to 4 years as a maximum, according to the country of destination and specialization, and does not include studying master’s courses (and includes clinical specializations in the medical field).

2- Joint supervision scholarship: - It gives the opportunity to spend a year doing research in a higher education institution in one of the countries of the world for Egyptians who are currently preparing a doctorate at an Egyptian public university.

3- Scientific mission: - To conduct post-doctoral research - scientific exchange - scientific school visits - lab visits - writing a project) and its duration is a maximum of 6 months.

4- Master’s: A scholarship to obtain a master’s degree from an educational institution in a country in the world. Its duration is one year, and it can be extended for another year as a maximum.

5- Collecting a master's scientific material: - A grant to collect the scientific material for a master's degree registered at home in an Egyptian university and for a period of one year in Japanese universities.
