The students of Faculty of Dentistry get third place in the scientific competition attached to the AEEDC Dubai conference

The students of the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University won the third place in the scientific competition attached to the activities of the AEEDC Dubai 2022 conference worldwide, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain al-Abidin, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Karim Mustafa Ibrahim Al-Batouti, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, received the faculty team in his office, to congratulate them on their honorable participation during the competition.

During the reception, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa thanked and appreciated the team members and team supervisor Dr. Khaled Adel for supervising the team during their trip to Dubai and their participation in the competition’s activities, and to Dr. Basma gamal, the credit hours’ system coordinator at the faculty, for organizing the team’s participation.

Prof. Dr. Karim El-Batouti praised the remarkable level of the faculty students, who distinguished themselves significantly during the competition competitions, during which faculties of Dentistry from Russia, Africa and the Arab world participated, as 18 international universities participated in the competition.

It is scheduled that the team will be honored during the activities of the faculty council and handed over certificates of appreciation.

It is noteworthy that the Emirates International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai) is the largest annual scientific exhibition and conference in the field of dentistry in the world, it is supported by the Dubai Health Authority, the International Scientific Dental Association, the Arab Dental Federation, the Executive Office of the Council of Health Ministers for the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as international and local bodies.

In its 26th year, the Emirates International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition “AEDC Dubai” witnessed a large influx of participants from around the world, as this session contributed to strengthening medical alliances around the world and reaching new methods for diagnosing diseases and treating patients, providing them with the best possible medical care.
