Ain Shams University participates in the 1st international friendship forum for university youth in Mansoura

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, the university students participate in the activities of the "First International Friendship Forum for University Youth" organized by Mansoura University under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of Mansoura University, from 7 to 10 February.

Prof. Dr. Sherwat Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Expatriates Department at the university, headed the student delegation participating in the forum, under the supervision of Dr. Abdel Aziz Mahmoud, a teacher at the Faculty of Education, includes 21 Egyptian and expatriate students from Ain Shams University.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, said that Ain Shams University’s participation in the forum stems from the belief in the philosophy and importance of integration between Egyptian students and their fellow expatriates and their participation together in various life activities, not only in the classroom; Which opens the horizons of human communication and increases opportunities to learn about different cultures and exchange visions and experiences, a trend that has become necessary in light of a world in which all humanity is integrated.

24 Egyptian universities representing 36 countries are participating in the forum organized by Mansoura University to celebrate the golden jubilee and the 50th anniversary of its establishment.

The forum aims to enhance the spirit of human solidarity, considering that friendship between peoples is an inspiring factor for peace efforts.

Ain Shams University students participate in the events of the forum, which include a variety of sports and entertainment activities, a day for different peoples and cultures, many artistic paragraphs, a poetry meeting at the Nile Club, and the transfer of the heritage of each country through its distinctive popular dishes, in addition to participating in a number of Workshops on the diversity and multiculturalism of peoples.
