the comprehensive development convoy in (Ahalina) neighborhood, Al-Salam district was launched Under the auspices of Major General Khaled Abdel Aal, Governor of Cairo and prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, which was headed by Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr.. Ashour Omari, head of the General Authority for Adult Education, and the coordination of prof. Dr. Jihan Rajab, Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and supervised by Prof. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Sector Affairs.

Dr. Islam Al-Saeed, Director of the Adult Education Center, stated that the Adult Education Authority in Cairo branch , in cooperation with the Adult Education Center at Ain Shams University held an immediate test for (100) citizens, and a questionnaire was made for (24) citizens, in addition to handing over certificates to six of those emancipated from illiteracy, In addition to a request to obtain 16 literacy certificates, an inventory of a number of illiterate residents of the neighborhood was made in preparation for opening classes for them through Ain Shams University students.
