The President of Ain Shams University witnesses the closing of the 16th annual Ain Shams International Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Conference

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, witnessed the closing of the sixteenth annual conference of the Department of Physical Medicine, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation at the University's Faculty of Medicine, in the presence of Prof. Mahmoud El-Tayeb, former president of Helwan University, and Prof. Mona El Sebaei, Head of the Department of Natural Medicine and President of the Conference, and a group of experts, researchers and specialists in the field from Egypt, Arab and foreign countries, including Saudi Arabia, Denmark, China, Italy, America, England, in addition to holding an exhibition on the sidelines of the conference with the participation of a number of pharmaceutical companies and medical device companies and rehabilitation.

The two-day conference discussed the new in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. It also provided the opportunity to exchange experiences among the participants through their various researches, in addition to highlighting the new in the treatment of patients with movement disabilities and other disabilities. Which improves the functional ability of the patient and helps in overcoming movement difficulties.

It is noteworthy that the conference granted 36 hours of continuing medical education accredited by the American Association, and was preceded by the establishment of three specialized workshops on diagnostic ultrasound waves for nerves, joints and muscles, and others on joint injections, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and Prof. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the College of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors.
