Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted an inspection tour inside the examination committees of the first semester of the academic year 2021/2022 at the Faculty of Nursing, during which he was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Sahar Musa Suleiman, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Sahar Yassin, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Seham Gerges, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.
During the tour, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saoud praised the recent developments in the faculty, and His Excellency continued the implementation of the proactive plan taken by the faculty before the start of the exams marathon; to face the repercussions of the Corona virus and its variants in order to preserve the safety of students, observers, faculty members and administrators.
Dr. Sahar Moussa said that exams are being held for 2486 male and female students for all undergraduate and postgraduate levels and will continue until February 3rd.
Exams are held for two days a week for each year divided into two periods a day in order to preserve social distancing, pointing out that the faculty has developed a proactive integrated insurance plan to confront the repercussions of the Corona virus and maintain the safety and security of its students, through (5) higher committees represented by the committee to follow up the progress of the exam process and a committee for medical care, a committee for guarding and security, a committee for various services, and a committee for following up on precautionary measures, noting that these committees were formed under its chairmanship and membership, in cooperation with department heads, heads of controls, and various departments and units of the faculty.
She added that the task of these committees is to overcome all obstacles in front of the students and to complete the examination process successfully, while achieving the maximum levels of safety for the faculty students during that period.
It is reported that the faculty is keen to publish the precautionary measures for all students on the faculty website, WhatsApp groups, on the faculty bulletin board and the stands, in addition to the regular passage of the faculty leaders and the precautionary committee team to check on the progress of the exam process, and the need to adhere to specific dates for services provided to students other than exam dates as well as dates Entry and exit cars to facilitate exit and entry paths for students.
Assigning a number of teaching assistants at the gates to direct students to the examination committees, with the presence of medical supervision and legal affairs on a permanent basis in the faculty, and the presence of workers at the door of the examination committees with alcohol and masks.
In addition to setting a plan with specific dates for periodic cleaning and sterilization between the committees and daily spraying of all faculty buildings, and setting mechanisms for the work of the various controls and filming the exams with specific dates on the day of the exam to ensure the confidentiality of the exams.
