Ain Shams University students celebrate the New Year in their own way

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, and Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Heba Allah Al-Saeed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Education and Student Affairs, and in a distinguished annual tradition, a group of Faculty of Medicine students under the supervision and initiative of Prof. Dr. Nasser Al-Khouli, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, visited the Children's University Hospital to celebrate with the children and present gifts to bring joy and pleasure to them.

Prof. Dr. Nasser Al-Khouli said that this tradition began years ago, and it is being prepared annually, as the organization of this celebration begins with the beginning of the school year and the introduction of the initiative, then groups of students, representing the different batches, work to buy gifts and arrange the party.

With the aim of spreading the idea and urging students to start the new year with charitable work and feeling sick from children.

The celebration includes the purchase of blankets and clothes for children and various toys, as well as a concert of musicians from medical students to bring joy and pleasure to children, as well as donating a sum of money to support the hospital.

Dr. Nasser Al-Khouli said that this work instills in the students a feeling of the other and the desire to spread the spirit of love and joy in the souls and called for the generalization of the initiative for the participation of every lover of good and life and promised to continue to do this celebration every year to create a generation of doctors full of values ​​​​of goodness and beauty.
