For the first time... a medical examination committee convened to determine the recruitment position for students with special needs at the Faculty of Arts

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and supervised by Dr. Muhammad Jaber, Director of the Electronic Vision Center, Mr. Reham Assem, Secretary of the Center, and in a precedent of its kind and within the framework of the continuous and fruitful cooperation between the Egyptian Armed Forces and Ain Shams University represented by the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Arts hosted a high-level military medical team from the Egyptian Armed Forces, headed by Brigadier General Abdel Nasser Mohamed Ahmed, director of the recruitment area And the mobilization of Cairo, in order to convene a medical committee to examine the students of the Faculty’s Vision Center and students with special needs to finish determining their recruitment position.

The team included: Colonel Mohamed Mahmoud Hassan, Head of the Recruitment and Mobilization Department in Cairo, Colonel Khaled Ahmed Mahmoud, Head of the Recruitment and Volunteering Branch, Major Doctor Ahmed Abdel-Fadil, and Major Doctor Mohamed Talaat, in cooperation with the Military Liaison Office at the university and in the presence of Colonel Ahmed Abdel-Gawad, Director of the Military Education Department. In coordination and organization, the Electronic Vision Center in cooperation with the Department of Public Relations at the college

         
   
         

The medical examination and the commission's examination were also signed, and preparations were made for the issuance of certificates stating the student's position on recruitment.

In his welcoming speech, he Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada appointed the Egyptian Armed Forces as a protective shield for the homeland and for citizens in all walks of life, whether on the economic, social, cultural or health level, in addition to the social services and public and humanitarian services it provides and which this step expresses today in facilitating procedures for blind, visually impaired students and people with special needs In order to save their time and effort in communicating with the Recruitment and Mobilization Department, the Cairo Recruitment and Mobilization Department responded to the college’s request to hold the committee at the college’s student headquarters, and in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic to adapt all efforts and overcome all difficulties to serve people with special needs.

Brigadier Abdel Nasser Mohamed Ahmed, director of the Cairo Recruitment and Mobilization District, expressed his happiness with the college’s excellent organization of the committee’s activities. The Recruitment and Mobilization Department and Ain Shams University to provide adequate support to our students in all academic teams, specifically for qualified students, the visually impaired and those with special needs, to facilitate the completion of determining their recruitment position and to facilitate the procedures for signing the medical examination, in addition to completing all necessary procedures to obtain certificates of recruitment treatment for those eligible for exemption, wishing them success in their lives Scientific and practical.

   
   

Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, expressed her happiness at honoring the prominent military leaders today at the college, and also made it clear that the college provided all possibilities such as allocating a well-ventilated room equipped to conduct examinations, as well as medical aid and first aid tools. This is in cooperation with the medical administration at the university and the medical center of the college, with caution and keenness to adhere to the medical examination by the students and the medical team by wearing masks, as well as providing all means of sterilization and disinfection.

In conclusion, the two sides exchanged honors, as Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada presented the college shield to the leaders of the armed forces, and Brigadier General Abdel Nasser Mohamed Ahmed presented the shields of the Egyptian armed forces to the leaders of the university and college represented by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel as a culmination of their efforts in the success of the committee’s tasks, as well as some souvenirs in kind bearing the name of the Egyptian Armed Forces for the students who have been medically examined.
