The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry received a delegation from the Higher Education Affairs Committee in Saudi Arabia under the chairmanship of the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Cairo, the representative of the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia and the Director of Educational and Academic Affairs to discuss ways of cooperation between the two sides.
Mr. Mohammed Dia confirmed that the student of the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University is able to practice the profession of dentistry by 70% upon graduating as a result of the information and experience that they have during his period of study in the faculty. Students are trained in various medical conditions and thus acquire most of the skills and experience of the profession. This is done through accurate criteria for evaluating the student so that he / she deserves to obtain a dental certificate of Ain Shams University. He also pointed out that the college contains 21 clinics, including several units equipped with the latest equipment and equipment that keep pace with the development of modern technology in the field of dentistry, the establishment of a simulation laboratory to train students as well as other specialized laboratories.
He added that the study system has been developed and updated for the year of excellence, where an integrated treatment plan is developed for the patient in a scientific way to continuously improve the students' abilities. In addition to establishing an expatriate care office to provide various extension services, dealing directly with international students and solving any problems that may impede their academic achievement.
Prof. Dr. Karim Al-Batouti explained that the faculty cares about the 257 students from 29 countries. He noted that the faculty has developed a strategic plan to deal with them, where students are contacted by e-mail from the Faculty administration to inform them of any information besides the official page of the Faculty on the sites Social networking, and 3 English language courses in three levels to help them achieve academic achievement.
The delegation visited the Faculty, the Root and Training Laboratory, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics, the Stem Cell, the Laser, the Digital Calibration and the Electronic Autoclaving Unit.
