The Faculty of Education celebrates the International Day of the Arabic Language

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, The Faculty of Education celebrated the International Day of the Arabic Language, which coincides with the celebration of Ain Shams University on this occasion.

         
   
         

The inauguration was attended by the dean of the faculty, Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid and a group of faculty staff and the teaching assistants from the various departments of the faculty. Dr. Hazem Rashid, the Dean of the Faculty, praised the efforts of the university in celebrating the International Day of the Arabic Language this year and encouraging its Faculties to celebrate that occasion.

Also confirmed by Dr. Mohamed Al-Taher, the Faculty's coordinator, in the celebration of the International Day of the Arabic Language at the university, on the support of the faculty and its leaders for aspects of its cultural and social activities and student activities.

The ceremony included a variety of paragraphs in which faculty, students and graduates participated in reciting, acting and singing. The ceremony also included a symposium hosted by the great poet Dr. Said Shawareb and journalist Esraa Mukhtar, where the symposium revolved around the language of poetry, literature, media and journalism.

         
   
         

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to all the participants and the guests of the ceremony were awarded two certificates of appreciation and two shields from the faculty in appreciation of their fruitful participation. The first German squad won the linguistic excellence shield as part of the celebrations of the International Day of the Arabic Language in the Faculty in appreciation of their efforts in learning Arabic and participating in its activities. Ms. Jihad Fayez Abdel Mohsen was awarded the Linguistic Excellence Shield in recognition of her efforts in learning Arabic, teaching it, publishing it, actively participating in serving its issues, and participating in international linguistic cultural activities.
