The Department of Home Economics at the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University held two workshops, the first entitled "How to deal with the blender program specialized in 3D images and animations", and the second in cooperation with the government distinction team on skills for dealing with the AutoCAD program, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Osama El-Sayed, Dean of the College, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amr Khalil, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, Prof. Dr. Walaa Anis, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, in the presence of students from the Departments of Home Economics and Art Education, under the coordination of Dr. Mona Al-Zanati.
Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Sayed said that the first workshop included a variety of capabilities of the program from work (models, preparation, installation, lighting, animation and production of any kind of three-dimensional scenes, which represents a quality for the specialization of sculpture for an art department where students can implement their own works in 3D technology before starting to implement them And the Department of Home Economics in drawing projections, lighting, decorations and clothing.
As pointed out by Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Sayed pointed to the importance of the second workshop, as the skills of dealing with AutoCAD are among the basic requirements that should be learned for students of the Department of Home Economics in drawing the plans for housing units in the field of family institutions management.
