Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and sponsored by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, the Department of Communication and Media Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen won the third place in the sustainable development competition at the "Arab Media Youth Forum" in its second edition, in the field of advertising the campaign "Our Nature is the Secret of Our Health", under the supervision of Dr. Hadeer Mustafa, the teaching assistant, in the department.
It is worth noting that the Arab Media Youth Forum in its second edition under the slogan "The Media Industry in the Age of Technology: Inspirational Experiences - Opportunities and Challenges", which lasted for three days from December 12 to 14, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, and Prof. Dr. Howayda Mustafa, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Prof. Dr. Salwa Al-Awadly, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Nashwa Akl, Executive Director of the Forum, in the Conference Hall, Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, in the presence of a number of media figures, and with the participation of Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattabi, Secretary-General Supervising the Media and Communication Sector, and Dr. Suha Bahgat, Advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for training and official spokesman for the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and Dr. Amr El-Haddad, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Alaa Al-Zyoud, media advisor at the Jordanian Embassy in Egypt.
The delegation of students from the Department of Communication and Media Sciences participating in the forum included: Abdul Rahman Al-Hamshari, Bossi Tharwat, Reem Nasser, Eman Al-Dali, and Donia Essam, under the supervision of Dr. Kholoud Khaled teaching assistant in the department, with various workshops over the course of the recipient's days, including a workshop for television production, dubbing and voiceover, mobile film production, television reporter, and digital media.
