Announcing the results of the Flash Chess Tournament for Egyptian Universities and Higher Institutes

The first flash chess tournament was held for Egyptian universities and higher institutes, as part of the activities of the Martyr Al-Rifai course (49) in Menoufia University, with the participation of 70 male and female students, from 23 universities: (German, Assiut, Suez, Ain Shams, Helwan, Galala, Alexandria, Tanta, Benha, Menoufia, American in Cairo, Egypt Informatics, Delta Sciences, Egyptian-Russian, Arab Open, Canadian Ahram, Higher Education, Mansoura, British, Badr, Future, Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Egyptian E-Learning) sponsored by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, President of the Egyptian Sports Federation of Universities, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University.

The tournament was held under the supervision of Dr. Sobhi Hassanein, Vice President of the Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President of Menoufia University for Education and Student Affairs and the Department of Sports Activity at the university, and Dr. Hisham Al-Geyoushi, Secretary General of the Universities Sports Federation, and C. Bahaa Mukhtar, Head of the Championship and Competition Sector at the Universities Sports Federation, Mr. Wael Gomaa, the tournament official from the Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Islam Al-Halawani, and Dr. Mina Mansour, tournament officials from the Universities Sports Federation.

Student competition:

- First place: Student/ Adham Fawzy (Alexandria University)

- Second place: Student/ Mark Yasser (Ain Shams University)

- Third place: Student/ Mohamed Rizk (Menoufia University)

Female individual competition:

- First place: Student/ Sarah Adel (Alexandria University)

- Second place: Student/ Zeinab Gamal (Alexandria University)

- Third place: Student/ Mary Wageh (Assiut University)

Male student team results:

First place: Alexandria University.

Second place: Ain Shams University.

Third place: Menoufia University

Female student team result:

First place: Alexandria University.
