The Faculty of Arts participates in the festival of self-sufficiency of music and university choir

The choir team of the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, participated in the university’s music and choral self-sufficiency festival 20214/2022, which was held at the Girls’ Faculty Theater, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, supervised and attended by Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and follow-up Prof. Neamat Khalifa, Director of Youth Welfare Department, and in the presence of a large number of students, led by student Habiba Nasser, president of the Faculty Student Union, student Maryam Adel, Vice President of the Union, student Karim Ibrahim, Secretary of the Technical Committee and Assistant Secretary Amani Mohsen, and a number of officials of the Technical Committee of the Youth Welfare Department.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel expressed her happiness with the participation of the faculty choir in the festival under the slogan: "Let the music take you away, where you wished." The faculty choir also succeeded in performing several traditional and tarab songs that are distinguished by their originality and difficulty in performing except for the distinguished.

The program of the concert consisted of group and individual singing of several songs, including: (national anthems of the Arab countries and the song Lah Tiyah - my heart and its key is “collective singing.” As for the solo singing, it was for songs: Dart al-Ayam, performed by student Duaa Muhammad - song lyrics performed by student Dina Kamal - above. Al-Nakhil, the performance of the student Islam Saeed - Layal Al-Anas, the performance of Salma Hisham, and the "faculty choir team" concluded the ceremony with a traditional compass "folklore" collective from the words of Ahmed Samir Sakr.

It is worth noting that 30 male and female students who are distinguished by the splendor and sweetness of voices and lyrical performance participated in the choir, led by Nesma Mustafa, the head of the choir and her deputy, Rodina Zaki.

All attendees also committed to applying all precautionary measures imposed by the university administration to confront the spread of the novel coronavirus.
