A successful evacuation test at the Faculty of Girls

The Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, carried out a successful experimental evacuation operation, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Fatima Al-Zahra Anwar, Director of the Crisis and Disasters Unit, and in the presence of Colonel Hatem Saber, University Adviser for Security Affairs, Professor Mohamed Attia Salah, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Security and Director of the Civil Defense Department, Professor Ahmed Kholousi, Director General of the General Department of University Security, Professor Khaled Zahran, Head of the Security Unit at the Faculty, and Professor Muhammad Saeed, director of the civil defense unit at the Faculty.

The evacuation process took 3 minutes, as a literary building was completely evacuated of faculty and support staff, students, administrators, and workers.

The evacuation process aimed to train the human element to abide by all security standards in the event of any natural disasters, and to raise the efficiency of the Civil Defense Department in the college in managing any emergency that might occur.
