Ain Shams University in the Thunderbolt units, the lair of heroes and men of difficult missions

Ain Shams University students visited the leadership of the Egyptian Thunderbolt units, within the framework of the political leadership’s directives to educate Egyptian university students about the role played by state institutions in various fields in order to raise the spirit of loyalty and belonging among the Egyptian youth, where Ain Shams University organized in cooperation with the Popular Defense Forces under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Colonel Ahmed Allam, Director of the Military Education Department at the university, visiting the university students to the leadership of the Egyptian Thunderbolt units.

The visit began with the Thunderbolt forces receiving the delegation with a welcome, and the stages of establishment and development of the Thunderbolt forces were explained, as well as the role and combat missions that the Thunderbolt forces participated in in previous wars and the tasks entrusted to them in securing public and private property during the January 25 and June 30 revolutions by showing a documentary film, then Watch a group of live performances of some of the combat exercises of the forces.

         
   
         

Ain Shams University students participated in a long tour inside the command of the Thunderbolt Forces, during which they met dozens of the heroes of these units, as a true model of sacrifice, redemption, and defense of the homeland.

During the tour, the delegation also witnessed several training areas, which show the skills of the Thunderbolt personnel.

       
   
       

For their part, the delegation of Ain Shams University students expressed their great happiness for their participation in this tour within the command of the Thunderbolt Forces, and their pride in seeing the heroes of these units, and dialogue with them, and their acquaintance with the capabilities and means of training, and the stages of qualification to reach the fighter to a high degree of professionalism in carrying out the tasks.

At the end of the tour, shields were exchanged, and some souvenir photos were shot.
