Charity exhibition at the Faculty of Girls in cooperation with the Light Charitable Foundation

Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Dr. Heba Adel Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, inaugurated the charity exhibition, which is organized by the Faculty of Girls in cooperation with the Light Charitable Foundation, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, said that the Faculty for Girls - under the umbrella of Ain Shams University - is keen to achieve social solidarity, by organizing such charitable exhibitions that benefit society as a whole in partnership with a number of civil society organizations.

Prof. Dr. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, indicated that the exhibition includes a large collection of clothes, bags and shoes, which were donated by the Light Charitable Foundation.

Her Excellency also confirmed that the Faculty administration is keen to organize such activities to provide students with clothes, shoes and leather goods at nominal prices in order to achieve the principle of social solidarity between the various groups of the university community, noting that the proceeds of the exhibition will go to help the Faculty's neediest students who are unable to pay university fees.
