The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Unit (iHub), at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, announced the launch of the second edition of the innovation competition " Alsenians Innovate" (2022), under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Radwa Qteet, unit manager.
Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, said that the competition will be open from 7 to 12 December, in three tracks: the innovation track, for those who have an innovative idea to solve a problem (linguistic, social, environmental, ... etc.), and the researchers track. For master’s or doctoral students who have research whose idea can have an applied output, and Entrepreneurship Track: for students and graduates with innovative entrepreneurial businesses, pointing out that the finalists will receive free workshops provided by experts from the Innovation Center in presentation skills and model design skills Businesses in preparation for presenting their ideas to a jury of experts in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The winners of the first places at the level of students, graduates and researchers will participate in the "Ain Shams Innovates" competition, where the winners will be awarded financial prizes.
