Honoring the Student Union Board of the Faculty of Arts at the closing ceremony of student activities

The Education and Student Affairs Sector at the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University organized a ceremony to honor the Student Union Board as a culmination of the efforts of its members in accomplishing its tasks and completing its various student activities during the academic year 2020/2021, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the implementation of Ms. Neamat Khalifa, Director of Youth Welfare Department.

The ceremony included the presentation of the Union Shield to each of the students by Dr. Mustafa Mortada and Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel and Ms. Neamat Khalifa, in recognition of the students for the great role they play in supporting the union board.

The Dean of the Faculty expressed his happiness with this ceremony, which is a culmination of the efforts of a year of seriousness and diligence in appearing appropriately for the outstanding university student in all fields and in providing distinguished and diverse activities of competitions, parties, seminars, camps and competitions of all kinds amid harsh general conditions that the country is going through in the face of the spread of the Corona virus.

The Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs honored Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada for his efforts in supporting student activities, by gifting him the Union Shield and honoring the student Muhammad Hamdi, President of the Student Union, and Rawda Al-Ajmi, Vice President of the Union. All members of the council are Muhammad Ramadan, Secretary of the Families Committee, as well as Assistant Secretary Hani Hisham, Secretary of the Social Committee Habiba Nasser, Assistant Secretary Esra Ashraf, and the secretary of scots Committee Israa Nasr, Assistant Secretary Malak Mahmoud, Secretary of the Cultural Committee Islam Abdel Ghaffar, Assistant Secretary Roya Ehab, Secretary of the Scientific Committee Halima Yasser, Assistant Secretary Muhammad Hosni, Secretary of the Sports Committee Hossam Kamal, and Assistant Secretary Nourhan Ahmed, in addition to honoring the student Karim Abdel Aziz, who is responsible for the Union’s media team for his efforts in photographing and documenting student activities.

The Vice Dean of the Faculty stressed that despite the preoccupation with implementing measures to confront the spread of the Corona virus, the student activities plan was implemented in full and successfully in various fields through the council’s committees that varied between cultural, scientific and artistic, the Mobile Committee, the Families Committee, and the Sports Committee, and she also commended the integration of students from People with special needs in various activities, which had a positive shadow in raising their morale.
