The Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University organized a cultural meeting entitled "Inspirational Places", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Yomna Azmy, Rapporteur of the Cultural Committee of the Graduate Studies and Research Sector. The writer and novelist Mai Khaled was the guest during the cultural symposium, in the presence of members of the Cultural Committee Prof. Dr. Dina Muhammad Abdo, Dr. Asim Al-Ammari, and Dr. Samar Mounir, members of the Faculty’s Cultural Committee.

         
   
         

During her opening speech, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, said that studying at the university is not limited to the educational aspect only, but university life is the last place that imparts to the student’s personality diverse skills and cultures and nurtures them by hosting public figures who have an impact on social life to hone the university student with the various skills and motives necessary to qualify him to graduate To society and, in turn, contribute to building a developed Egyptian society.

Prof. Dr. Yomna Azmy, rapporteur of the Faculty’s Cultural Committee, confirmed that working life in the labor market is part of an individual’s life, and social and private life has many aspects that require skills, cultures and arts that contribute to shaping the student’s personality and conscience in post-graduation life, and the faculty administration works according to an integrated system to host elite From the personalities of the community with distinguished experiences to provide students with their experiences in life.

         
   
         

During the meeting, the writer and novelist Mai tackled the places she visited in Egypt and the world and inspired her in her narrative project, including "The Magic of Turquoise", "A Last Wall", "Gymnasium", "Tamar", "Tango and Mawal" and "The Wisal Texts".

Mai Khaled also tackled the subject of painting and decoupage, and presented a group of pictures of her various works.

In conclusion, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, honored the novelist, Mai Khaled, and handed her the Faculty shield, and a certificate of appreciation from the Cultural Committee for her active participation in the cultural meeting.
