A workshop entitled "Photojournalism" at the Department of Media, Faculty of Arts

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, the Department of Communication and Media Sciences at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen, organized a workshop entitled "journalistic photography", and Mr. Mohamed Hesham, a former photojournalist for Al-Masry Al-Youm and Al-Youm Al-Sabaa newspapers, and a member of the media office of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, presented a lecture in the presence of the students of the Journalism Division in the department, under the supervision of Ms. Kholoud Khaled, teaching assistant in the department.

The workshop dealt with the rules and basics of photojournalism, how to produce photo press stories, photo press investigations, news coverage, and artistic composition of photos.
