The Board of Directors of the Employment Center at Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Metini, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center and the President of the University, a meeting in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Cooperation and Academic Cooperation Sector, Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of Alumni Association Administration, Prof. Dr. Nevin Assem, Director of the Training and Development Center, Dr. Ayman Farid, Director of the Employment Center, and the center's staff, including Ms. Samar Al-Saadani, Executive Director of the Center, Ms. Farah Tarek, Deputy Director of the Center for Education and Vocational Guidance, Eng. Reem Rahim, Deputy Director of the Center for Partnerships and Institutional Relations, Prof. Rana Emad, Senior Professional Support Specialist, Mrs. Baher Amer, the financial officer of the center.
This is the first board of directors for the employment center, and the center's work plan, expected performance indicators, and partnerships that the center accomplished in the previous period were discussed.
Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini stressed the importance of the university's centers joining forces to provide exceptional quality services to students.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud also pointed out the importance of having a clear plan for the center that allows providing the required services.
While Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh drew attention to the importance of communication between all parties to the university and stakeholders to reach the best benefit.
Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry added that the center should develop a plan to ensure its sustainability. For her part, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samira stressed the importance of having a centralization of some services that serve different sectors at the university.
The Career Center work team presented the details of the executive plan, the various paths of cooperation with the faculties, and the numbers to be served during the coming period.
It is reported that the Career Center offers many programs to university students and graduates through a group of experts in career guidance, and all services provided by the center are announced through the ASU Career Center page.
