"Translation technology and machine translation" a scientific symposium in cooperation with the United Nations at the Faculty of Al-Alsun

The Graduate Studies Sector at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, is organizing a scientific symposium entitled "Translation Technology and Machine Translation", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, targets faculty members, the supporting body, and graduate students, and it is lectured by Prof. Fathi Mohamed Abdel Raouf, translator and reference at the United Nations, and the symposium will be divided into two parts, the first part will be held on Saturday, 20 November, and the second part will be on Saturday, 11 December at exactly seven in the evening, 2021 at seven in the evening through the MS Teams application.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, said that the symposium's topics revolve around an introduction to translation technology and the job opportunities it provides, programs for extracting and translating terms, and programs for aligning translated texts.
