For the first time... a seminar entitled: Honorable Egyptian Models in China

Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the symposium was held for the first time under the title: "Honorable Egyptian Models in China" in an online system with the attendance of 100 participants.

The symposium opened with the speech of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, where he welcomed the honorable attendees, praised the Confucius Institute, Ain Shams University and the various activities it provides to its students, and expressed his great admiration for the idea of ​​the symposium and the honorable models, and praised their positive role in conveying the image of the new Egypt in in the midst of Chinese society. He also gave an intervention after the participants spoke in which he commended their distinguished vision of patriotism and their enthusiasm in providing advice to all their colleagues from the university's youth.

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, expressed a strong welcome for the fruitful cooperation between the Faculty of Al-Alsun and the Confucius Institute, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, President of the Ain Shams University Alumni Association, who praised the speakers, praised their efforts and welcomed their joining the Ain Shams University Alumni Association.

Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel-Sayed Hassan, Director of the Confucius Institute, Ain Shams University, presented the models participating in the symposium, who have made achievements in their work in China, and who are considered role models in the path of struggle and hard work.

The following gentlemen spoke during the seminar:

Ali Thabet, the current regional director of “CIPG” for Publishing and Distribution in the People’s Republic of China, where he stated that the path to success consists of several stages that must be followed to achieve the desired success, which is continuous learning in all possible ways and means and continuity in the pursuit and self-review always in failure and success to reach Reasons, modification, and finally flexibility in thinking.

Muhammad Osama is a journalist with Xinhua Agency in the People's Republic of China. Muhammad expressed that despite the obstacles he faced in traveling to China, with persistence and determination at work, he achieved his dream of working as the most famous foreign anchor on Chinese TV.

Abdul Aziz Salam, a program presenter on Chinese TV, stated in his speech that he began participating in competitions and worked in more than one field of translation, until he reached his goal of working on Chinese TV as a program presenter, political analyst and programmer.

Mohamed Tharwat, founder and owner of Al-Ittihad Import and Export Company, who talked about the obstacles he faced in working in the field of trade in China until he established his own company and how he started from scratch until he reached the globalization of his company.

Muhammad Gehad is a TV presenter and voice actor for many Chinese documentaries, where he talked about his strong determination to reach his goal and achieve it, and suggested the idea of community service for the students of the fourth year in the Faculty to serve and help the students of the smaller teams

At the end of the symposium, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, expressed the importance of the concept of social service after graduation and the continuation of community service.

Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel Sayed, director of the Confucius Institute and supervisor of this symposium concluded by presenting the students' questions to the speakers and praising their efforts in providing role models among university students, and models that Ain Shams University is proud of.

This symposium is the first in a series of other symposia that will be held under the title: "Honorable Egyptian Models in China".
