An introductory symposium on the professional certificate programs for the graduate studies sector at the Faculty of Business

The Graduate Studies and Research Sector at the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, organized the second introductory symposium for professional certificate programs under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty of Business, under the supervision and organization of Prof. Dr. Hiam Wahba, Vice Dean for Studies, with the participation of a group of professors from the Faculty of Business represented by Prof. Dr. Hussein Issa, professor of accounting at the faculty and former president of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Atef Al-Awam, Professor of Financial Accounting at the faculty and former Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr.. Abdul Rahman Alyan, Professor of Costs and Head of the Accounting Department at the College, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Meguid, professor of auditing at the faculty and scientific advisor to the accounting program, Prof. Dr. Ejlal Hafez, Professor of Human Resources and Scientific Adviser to the Business Administration Program, Dr. Mona Sharif and Dr. Muhammad Al-Baz, program coordinators, in the presence of many faculty staff and heads of scientific departments at the faculty.

Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty of the Symposium, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the university administration for its continuous support to students, staff and faculty members; As well as the active role played by the university for the continuous development and improvement of all work systems and mechanisms, thus achieving an honorable image of Ain Shams University among its counterparts from regional, local and international universities.

During her speech, Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, about the advantages of studying in the professional certificate programs at the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, which contains more than 15 programs in the fields of management and accounting and related to the fields of the labor market, in addition to the international accreditation of Ain Shams University during the current year 2021, which it has achieved Ain Shams University is an advanced center according to the QS ranking (5 stars).

She also stressed that the program's success is linked to the presence of a distinguished elite of faculty members at Ain Shams University, both at the academic or professional level, many of them occupying leading positions in important institutions in the country, in addition to the faculty of Business at Ain Shams University's constant endeavor to develop its courses and curricula in a manner that is appropriate with the sustainable development plan for Egypt 2030.

She added that all these pillars are strong points that attract scholars from inside and outside Egypt to join this great edifice.

During the seminar, the coordinators of the professional certificate programs for the two business administration programs were presented by Dr. Mona Al-Sharif, and accounting d. Mohamed El-Baz, an introduction to the MBA programs; Professional Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA); Professional Master's in Accounting (MPA), where the presentation included an introduction to the academic structure of the programs, the duration of study, the specializations available in each program, and the academic path of the professional programs.

Several graduates of professional programs presented their experiences during their enrollment in the professional study at the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University; They also passed on their experiences and advice to the current learners; During their speeches, they praised the role of the college administration and the faculty members in supporting and refining their skills and expressed their pride and pride in being graduates of the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University.

The attending students asked their questions and made suggestions about professional programs, and the attending professors responded to all inquiries and welcomed the proposals put forward.
