Ain Shams University wins first place in the highest number of indexed journals in the Arabic Citation Index ARCI

Ain Shams University ranked first in the highest number of indexed journals in the Arabic Citations Index ARCI 2021, in the celebration of honoring distinguished Egyptian universities in international publishing, organized by the Supreme Council of Universities in cooperation with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and sponsored by the international publisher "Clarivate", in the presence of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Sakr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Latif, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, a number of Egyptian university presidents and vice presidents, college deans, and a group of faculty members and public figures.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini expressed his happiness with this honor, which comes within the framework of the keenness of the Ministries of Higher Education and Education to honor educational institutions and researchers who have achieved advanced positions in international publishing in a number of scientific fields and disciplines, stressing that Ain Shams University is witnessing a major qualitative leap in recent times from While holding advanced positions in many well-known international classifications, whether at the level of universities as a whole or at the level of scientific disciplines, which reflects the amount of scientific production of the university published internationally in journals classified in the Web of Science database and other international databases.

His Excellency added that Ain Shams University is witnessing a noticeable increase in the number of diverse partnerships with prestigious international institutions in addition to the new and distinguished programs established by the university, whether at the undergraduate or postgraduate levels, in addition to the university's obtaining five stars in the classification of the QS organization, as well as the distinction of the faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy.

On his part, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, said that the university is witnessing a steady increase in the number of scientific journals indexed in the Arab Index of Reference Citations, in addition to the presence of a number of university journals with higher impact factors for international publication, and the university’s graduate studies and research sector is keen to provide all means of support The entire university faculties through fruitful cooperation with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, and the amendment of the rules and regulations of international publishing rewards at the university to motivate the faculty members and the supporting body to publish international scientific, and the university has also encouraged and motivated faculty staff, the teaching assistants, students and all university employees to raise the rates and quality of publication International, maximizing the value of rewards granted to publishers for their tireless efforts to publish research in distinguished international journals, especially with the highest and most important impact factor and without a maximum number of annual research, which was evident in the number of research published internationally.
