Opening of the 24th annual conference of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the Faculty of Medicine

Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Abou El Nour, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty and President of the Conference, inaugurated the twenty-fourth annual conference of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ain Shams Medicine, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hassan Awad, former head of the obstetrics and gynecology department, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Hatem El-Gamal and Prof. Dr. Amr Al-Husseini, Vice-President of the Conference, and Prof. Dr. Hossam Hamida and Prof. Dr. Adel Shafik and Conference Coordinator Prof. Dr. Walid Al-Basiouni, Dr. Ahmed Abbas, and the head of the scientific committee of the conference, Prof. Dr. Radwa Mansour.

The conference comes under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors.

         
   
         

On October 21-20, 2021, the conference will discuss the latest research, advanced studies and various medical expertise in all fields of gynecology, obstetrics and ultrasound - the latest ICSI techniques - infertility and its treatment - gynecological tumors and their surgeries - dealing with premature babies, gynecology and their surgeries - Advanced laparoscopic surgery.

This year's conference is characterized by the presence of 19 foreign experts from various countries and one hundred and fifty speakers and chairs of sessions from various Egyptian universities. More than 2,000 doctors from Egypt and many Arab countries attend the conference's activities.

It is worth mentioning that the conference is distinguished by obtaining a certificate from the European Academy of Continuing Medical Education, and the conference is supported by more than fifty international and local pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies and medical laboratories.
