Protocol of cooperation between the Egyptian universities and Ocean University of America

Al-Zaffran Palace, the headquarters of the University of Ain Shams University witnessed the signing of a number of Egyptian universities on a protocol of cooperation with the University of Ocean US to establish community faculties.

This protocol comes in the background of the protocol that was signed and witnessed by Prof. Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, who stressed the importance of establishing the first model for the establishment of community colleges in the Egyptian universities as well as the technological faculties. It is considered an important step in the development of technical education and the development of new programs to suit the community development plans and preparing a generation of qualified graduates to meet the needs of the labor market.

In addition to the possibility that the protocol will include graduates and technicians who wish to develop their skills, through the provision of a training service for them. The provisions of the protocol include the establishment of community colleges in various disciplines in the four-year system in two stages, where the student is given an initial certificate in the specialization, after two years, he can complete the study later for two more years, and that the student obtain the final bachelor's degree after the completion of the second phase.

Under the protocol, the University of Larsson establishes the curriculum, supervises the teaching process and follows up the educational process in the universities. Each university provides educational facilities and laboratories, supervises student enrollment procedures and administrative aspects. The protocol also provides the opportunity to train students in the working life, Experience, and then complete the study more deeply and more specialized.

Ain Shams University is the first university to sign this protocol with the University of Ocean in June.
