Under the slogan "Smart Environment ... A Decent Life for all" conference at the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Aziz, Secretary General of the Arab Union for Sustainable Development and Environment, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community and Environmental Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Noha Samir, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research, Ain Shams University, and on the occasion of the Arab Environment Day, which takes place on the fourteenth of October each year, the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research at Ain Shams University and the Arab Union for Sustainable Development and Environment in cooperation with the Association of Islamic Universities and the Center for Administrative Development CMD and the magazine River of Hope organized the Arab International Conference: "It's time to switch to a smart environment" under the slogan of a smart environment - a decent life, in the Great Conference Hall at the Faculty of Pharmacy - Ain Shams University in the presence and online, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hala Awadallah, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Reham Refaat, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs and Vice President of the Conference, and Dr. Huda Helal, director of the Green Transformation Unit at the college, and conference rapporteur.

The conference comes within the framework of the various Arab initiatives that call for the necessity of transforming the earth into a clean, livable environment without violations of its resources while preserving and caring for it so that it is qualified to live in it while providing a decent life for all its life participants, whether human, animal or plant.

Prof. Dr. Naha Samir Donia, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research, said that the conference comes in line with the state's vision of the need to transform the degraded environment into a smart and clean one.

She stressed that the conference aims to eliminate all forms of violence towards the environment, shift towards a decent life for everyone on Earth together, provide appropriate opportunities for creativity and innovation towards prosperity and civilized growth, sustain the smart environment for successive generations, generation after generation, as well as the demand for investment considering the Arab environmental development.
