The Faculty of Pharmacy concludes the activities of the comprehensive medical convoy in Al-Matareya district at Cairo Governorate

Under the auspices of Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and in the presence of Professor Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, organized a comprehensive medical convoy in Cairo Governorate (Mohamed Metwally Al Shaarawy Primary School - El Matareya District) during the period from October 2 2021 to October 6, 2021 for a period of 5 days.

The activities of the medical convoy were concluded under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amany Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Rola Milad Labib, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the convoy included a number of different specialties in cooperation with the Faculty of Human Medicine - Dentistry - Nursing.

These convoys come to activate the Faculty’s role in providing medical services to patients from families most in need of care, in order to facilitate them, and to provide the service to the fullest extent, as detection, diagnosis, all analyzes and awareness for all age groups were carried out, and treatment was distributed free of charge to all patients by 2,100 examinations, 1920 prescriptions, 423 Analyzing and educating 8,711 people according to the convoy statistics.
