Ain Shams achieved third place in an environmentally friendly university within the best Egyptian university competition

Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, during the youth conference held at Cairo University, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organized the Best Egyptian University competition, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, and Deputy Minister for University Affairs Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour.

Ain Shams University won third place in the competition for the best Egyptian university in terms of its environmental friendliness, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, the President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Hesham Temraz, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Ain Shams University has taken many measures that are in line with development and progress and at the same time preserve the environment, as many construction buildings were built, in addition to the maintenance and renovation of other buildings in line with the standards specifications to preserve the environment, in addition to expanding the green spaces on the campus.

It is worth mentioning that Ain Shams University won the competition of the best Egyptian universities in several advanced positions in a number of other classifications.
