Ain Shams University is the first Egyptian university to be accredited as an international training center by the American Heart Association

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, Professor of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University and Director of the International Training Center accredited by the American Heart Association, stated that the American Heart Association has approved Ain Shams University as a center for international training in Egyptian universities.

She emphasized that Ain Shams University is the first Egyptian university to be accredited by the American Heart Association, given the competencies, expertise and laboratories of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University.

The center is scheduled to start its first training course next Monday, September 20th, under the title "Basic Life Support”, at exactly nine o’clock in the morning at the Central Simulation Center, Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University.

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Reem Al Kabariti, Director of the American Heart Association's Accredited International Training Center, Dr. Sherif El Seginy, Coordinator of the International Training Center of the American Heart Association, and Prof. Dr. Iman Yahya, Director of the Simulation Center at the Faculty of Medicine.
