The opening of the third international conference of the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies in the Faculty of Education

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, witnessed the opening of the third international conference on Saturday 11/9/2021 for the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, the conference in cooperation with Arab bodies, institutions and universities.

This year's conference came under the title (Theory and Practice - Contemporary Trends in Arab Studies and Foreign Cultures).

At the opening ceremony, there was a speech by poth of: Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University and President of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel-Maqsoud, Head of the Arabic Language Department at the Faculty and Conference Rapporteur, and Deputy Rapporteur Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Fouad, and Prof. Dr. Wael Ali Elsayed.

The opening ceremony was attended by a group of scholars and researchers from several Arab countries, including the UAE, Iraq, Jordan, Tunisia and others, and a number of eminent professors at the university, faculty and department were honored.

The conference sessions revolved around three axes (Linguistic Sciences - Literary Studies - Islamic Studies) and the sessions of the first day were directly in the faculty, and there are virtual sessions in the following two days, and many workshops will be held on the sidelines of the conference.
