Ain Shams University scouting team receives Prof. Dr. Abdul Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Students

In a friendly parental meeting, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, met with 50 of Ain Shams University’s roaming team participating in the first scouting and guiding festival for the university’s roamers, where the students received him with flowers, presenting him with the festival shield.

During a long conversation, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud praised the students’ outstanding performance, and announced the disbursement of a reward of 500 pounds to each of the participants who represented (11) faculties of the university, stressing that this will be a continuous tradition to encourage more students to participate in various student activities.

He also listened to the students' suggestions regarding the development of the permanent scout camp headquarters, pointing out that an integrated plan has been developed and work has begun to complete the development and maintenance work before the start of the next academic year.

         
   
         

He also directed the formation of a committee of clan leaders to receive the proposals of the roamers regarding the development of an innovative mechanism for practicing roving activities in line with the current and future health situation.

He pointed out that the participating students will be vaccinated in various student activities during the few weeks prior to the start of the school year, as well as the first year students and then the higher levels of education, respectively.

This was followed by his participation in some of the brown displays and shouts that are famous for roamers of Ain Shams University.

This was attended by Mr. Mohamed Al-Sharqawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Mrs. Asmaa Ali Khater, director of the roaming administration, and Mohamed Lashin, head of the Student Union.
