Ain Shams University President and the Chinese Cultural Advisor witness the presentation of the Chinese Shaolin of Kungfu Skills

Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, University President and Mr. Shi Yu Wen, Chinese Cultural Counselor to the People's Republic of China in Cairo, attended the presentation of the Shaolin Chinese Kungfu of the Shaolin Temple in Song Shan, which was held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel-Sayed, Director of the International Relations Office at the University and Director of the Confucius Center.

Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel-Sayed explained that this show is being presented for the first time in Egyptian universities. The Shaolin Kungfu band is a global band that toured the world and is fined by young people because of its combat performances, with more than 25 exhibitors presenting all the skills of kungfu.

During the event, which was a great interaction of the audience, a competition was held between students to test their skills in Kungfu performances and was awarded symbolic prizes for the better.

The head of the monastery of the Shaolin Temple gave to the President of Ain Shams University two volumes that included all the movements of the Shaolin band and its performance and purpose.

The show is part of the cultural activities of the Confucius Center.
