Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, announced the start of the summer semester for the academic year 2020-2021, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs.
Dr. Mustafa Mortada explained that the faculty started in the summer semester immediately after the completion of the registration period for courses in the 14 departments that apply the credit hour system, stressing the application of all precautionary measures that preserve the health and safety of students and all members of the educational process in the faculty.
Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, confirmed that the study will end on Thursday, September 16, and that the exams begin on Sunday, September 19, and end Tuesday, October 12, with the Babel Chit system.
While Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel confirmed that studying in the hybrid education system, which combines online and face-to-face education, added that e-books were provided, in addition to making courses available on the university platform through the student's university email.
Dr. Hanan added that the classrooms are sterilized before and after the lecture, and the emphasis is on wearing masks, while maintaining the distance between students and not being on the faculty Corridors unnecessarily.
She also confirmed that all schedules have been published on the faculty's official page, alerting the importance of attendance according to the announced schedule.
