The University President meets with representatives of the Mathematics Department in the Faculties of Science, Education and Girls

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdul Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, met with representatives of the Mathematics Department in the faculties of (Girls, Education, and Science).

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini said during the meeting that the cooperation of similar scientific disciplines has become a necessity imposed by the successive changes that the world is witnessing, so it was necessary to come up with new approaches and visions developed by members of scientific circles in similar departments through their communication and cooperation.

He called for holding an expanded meeting that includes all faculty members in the Mathematics Department in the three faculties, stressing that the cooperation of faculty members in similar departments in scientific research and joint publication will positively reflect on scientific research, make it richer and prevent repetition, and that the university will provide them with all means of support.

On his part, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saoud confirmed that the international classifications take into account the single specialization in the university, regardless of the colleges, and thus the production of similar scientific departments affects each other in the international classifications of specializations, and is reflected in the classification of the university as a whole.

Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saoud, stressed the need to work on making mathematics departments attractive to new students, as a proposal was presented from the audience to organize scientific convoys for secondary school students, carried out by professors from different faculties to simplify science and encourage students to enroll in studying there, and the idea was welcomed by the university leadership with their promise By facilitating the procedures and providing all means of support for their implementation, with the need to educate students about the job opportunities available in the labor market for graduates of these departments based on the orientations of the Egyptian state and its needs in all jobs.
