The Faculty of Business organizes a community convoy in the Agouza district

The Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University organized a community convoy in the Agouza district in Giza governorate under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Qadri, Dean of the College, and Prof. Dr. Ashour Ahmed Omary, Head of the Executive Authority of the General Authority for Adult Education, and under the supervision and presence of Prof. Dr. Gehan Ragab, Professor of Marketing and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in the presence of Prof. Hind Abdel Halim, Deputy Governor of Giza, and Major General Yasser Madin, Head of Agouza District, Dr. Islam Mohamed El-Saeed, Director of the Adult Education Center at Ain Shams University, Dr. Hanan Hussein, and Teaching Assistant Ahmed Mohamed, Deputy Director of the National Literacy Project Support Unit at the college, and many college students and the administrative staff attended, and the convoy supported the Egyptian Garment Bank, Agouza neighborhood, and Meet Oqba Youth Center.

         
   
         

Dr. Gehan Ragab, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, stated that the convoy came within the framework of the state’s efforts and striving to achieve the goal of eliminating illiteracy, which is one of the important axes on which Egypt’s sustainable development strategy is based on Egypt’s Vision 2030, although the term illiteracy is no longer desirable now. Because it constitutes one of the main obstacles to the development process, especially what we are living through now in light of the digital transformation and the era of technology that is characterized by its rapid successive developments, and that youth are the main pillar upon which countries are based because of their knowledge and minds that radiate ideas and visions that contribute to achieving development, and in light of the steps taken the serious and constructive carried out by Ain Shams University to activate the national project to eradicate illiteracy.
