The President and Vice President of Ain Shams University honors the winning students with “Creativity” awards

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, honored the university students who won the prizes of the “Creativity” Festival, which concluded its activities last Thursday.

This was attended by Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Al-Sharqawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, Mr. Mustafa Issa, Director of the Technical Activity Department, Ms. Hind Hamed, theatrical activity official and artistic activity supervisors, Mr. Ahmed Adel, Mr. Abdel-Fadil Kamal, Mr. Anas Maghawry and Mr. Yasser Abdel Razek.

         
   
         

During the honoring, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini praised the level of students and their creative abilities in various fields, and stressed that the university supports talented people in all fields and spares no effort in providing all means of support and training for them.

He stressed the need to strike a balance between academic excellence and superiority in activities, and warned of the need to employ students' participation in external events to ensure their superiority and appearance in an appropriate manner.

He also thanked all the ministries and institutions involved in organizing a creativity festival, as well as the university students who put Ain Shams University at the forefront.

         
   
         

Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud confirmed that the university’s philosophy is based on paying attention to student activities in addition to academic studies, stressing that the university, the education sector and students have been keen to develop a plan to ensure the continuation of student activities despite the pandemic conditions.

He also confirmed that there is a plan to invest all available places for activities in the various faculties of the university.

They held a parental dialogue with the students to identify their needs and suggestions for developing activities at the university in various fields. The students also thanked all the employees of the General Administration of Youth Welfare.

It is noteworthy that the creativity festival was held in its ninth session, with the participation of 6,500 students from 145 universities and public and private institutes. The total prizes for the competition amounted to 4 million and 917 thousand pounds, of which Ain Shams University students won 15% of the total prizes, which is an unprecedented number at the level of competition courses The nine.
