Inauguration of the new headquarters of Anti-Violence and Harassment Unit at Ain Shams University

Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, inaugurated the new headquarters of Anti-Violence and Harassment Unit at Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hind Al-Hilali, unit director, and consultants and specialists in the unit, Prof. Dr. Huda Helal, Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Joud, Prof. Dr. Fayrouz Mahmoud, Prof. Dr. Amal Al-Sharqawi, Dr. Yousra Shaaban.

Dr. Hind Al-Hilali, Director of the Unit, said that the Anti-Violence and Harassment Unit is the first of its kind in Egyptian universities, and provides a package of services to female students, faculty staff, female employees and workers at the university. She pointed out that the aspects of support provided by the unit are periodic sessions of psychological and physical support in addition to legal support, stressing that the National Council for Women and the university administration provide permanent support to the unit and to women in general.
