With a total of 24 awards, Ain Shams University students win most of the awards of the 9th edition of the Creativity Festival

In a unique event in the history of Egyptian universities, and the history of Ain Shams University, Ain Shams University students succeeded in seizing the majority of the prizes for the creativity festival competitions, which concluded the activities of its ninth session and was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

In the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Ain Shams University students received 24 prizes during the celebration that was held yesterday evening at the theater of the Grand Ceremony Hall at Cairo University.

The participation of Ain Shams University students in the ninth session of the Creativity Festival, sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education Affairs, Ain Shams University students succeeded in competing with 6,500 male and female students from 145 universities and institutes from public and private universities and institutes, who competed in 23 competitions in the scientific, literary, cultural and artistic fields.

The student awards were as follows:

In the collective teams, Ain Shams University students won first place in each of the competitions for amateur theater, specialist theater and short films, as well as the first place for the music team, in addition to the second center for folk arts and the award for best music and singing in the field of folk arts, second center for religious chanting team, second place for Christian hymns, the third place is the field of Lyrical Theatre.

As for the individual competitions, Ain Shams University students won the following awards:

1st place, Best Amateur Theater Actor, 1st Place Best Amateur Theater Actress, 1st Place Best Amateur Theater Director, 1st Place Best Specialized Theater Director, 1st Place Best Specialized Theater Actor, 3rd Place Best Specialized Theater Actor, 2nd Place Best Specialized Theater Actress, Center 3rd Best Specialized Theater Actress, 2nd Place Best Specialized Theater Decor, 2nd Place Best Specialized Stage Lighting, 2nd Place Best Specialized Stage Lighting, 2nd Place Best Costumes.

Theater Specialists, Best Actor Center Third Lyric Theatre.

Ain Shams University also won first place in the scientific field competitions in the field of scientific innovations (Internet of Things).

In the cultural field, the students won (first place in the field of colloquial poetry and second place for best screenwriter).

It is noteworthy that the total prizes for the festival amount to 4 million and 917 thousand Egyptian pounds.
