Tomorrow... the scientific day of the chest department in Faculty of medicine

The Chest Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, will organize next Thursday, July 15, the department's scientific day, which will witness the announcement of the start of work with the latest updates to the protocol of Ain Shams University Hospitals to treat the emerging corona virus, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Awad Tag al-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Chairman of the Hospitals Board of Directors, and Prof. Dr.. Ali Al-Anwar, CEO of Ain Shams University Hospitals.

Prof. Dr. Yasser Mustafa, Head of the Chest Department at Ain Shams University Hospitals, said that the activities of the day, which are held at the University's Training and Development Center, include presenting some interactive clinical cases that represented treatment challenges that were dealt with at Ain Shams University hospitals, and those cases will be discussed with a constellation of chest and central care professors at Ain University Sun.

The day will also include addressing the latest scientific developments regarding fungal infections associated with the Corona virus and presenting the scientific evidence supporting the use of various drugs in treatment.

A group of chest and internal medicine doctors, intensive care and elderly medicine will participate in the scientific meeting, and today's activities will be broadcast via Zoom technology for chest doctors and other specialties from Cairo and various governorates.
