The Faculty of Arts Council honors the Dean of the Faculty, and the former Vice Dean of the Faculty for receiving the University's Appreciation Award

The Council of the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, honored, in its session, each of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty and Professor of Sociology, on the occasion of receiving the Ain Shams University Appreciation Award in the field of social sciences for the year 2020/2021, and the Council also honored Prof. Dr. Tariq Mansour Mohamed, the former faculty vice-dean and professor of history, for receiving the University’s Appreciation Award in the field of educational sciences for the year 2020/2021.

Where both Prof. Dr. Sherine Mazloum, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel Metwally, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hoda Wasfi, Head of the French Language Department, winner of the State Appreciation Award last year, presented the faculty shield and a certificate of appreciation to the honorees on behalf of the members of the Faculty Council.

On his part, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his happiness at receiving the University’s Appreciation Award, stressing that Ain Shams University spares no effort in appreciating its members, which contributes to motivating and supporting them to do more work, which will contribute to raising the university’s name locally and internationally. He thanked the University and College Council for this honor.

Also Prof. Dr. Tariq Mansour, the former Vice Dean of the Faculty, expressed his overwhelming happiness with this honor, and he also thanked the University Council and the Faculty Council for this honor.
