Dr. Awad Tag El-Din inaugurates the 9th Annual International Conference on Hematology and Marrow Transplantation

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs and Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs at Ain Shams University, opened the ninth annual international conference of the Egyptian Society of Hematology and Marrow Transplantation of the Hematology and Marrow Transplant Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.

The two-day conference is sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, a. Dr.. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and a. Dr.. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors.

The conference aims to bring together scientists and researchers in the field of clinical hematology and marrow transplantation diseases and tumors to exchange their experiences and discuss all that is new in this field and exposure to new drugs and their impact on various diseases in the field of hematology and bone marrow transplantation and their effectiveness in controlling the course of these diseases.

It is worth noting that the conference is divided into a direct attendance part in which nearly 500 participants participate, and another part via an electronic platform for conference activities, following precautionary measures, with the participation of more than 5,000 participants.

16 international doctors, as well as a group of consultants and professors of hematology from Egyptian universities, institutes and hospitals, will participate in the conference, in addition to participations from different countries from England, the United States of America, and from Arab countries from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
