he exams of the second semester of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, for the academic year 2020/2021, were launched, starting from Saturday, June 5, for 10869 male and female students, over three days a week for each group divided into two periods a day, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Prof. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, announced the formation of a higher committee headed by it and the membership of the faculty’s deputies for education, students, community service and environmental development, in cooperation with the various departments and units of the faculty led by the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit, the Medical Center and the Department of Civil Defense and Security at the faculty.
She stressed that the preventive measures and social distancing between students within the committees at a distance of no less than one and a half meters, and stressed that the Faculty administration has taken great steps to achieve maximum safety for the Faculty students during the period of their exams, as the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit has developed a proactive plan to face the repercussions the new Corona virus by spraying and sterilizing all the halls and terraces in the Faculty before the start of the exams, providing the necessary masks and gloves for the control members, members of the security and civil defense team, observers and workers in charge of exam work, and providing remote thermometers, and the doctors at the medical center were alerted to prepare for any An emergency situation during the exams, as well as the examination halls and all controls were sterilized, and the levels of full readiness were raised by security, civil defense, safety and occupational health personnel.
The Faculty administration has also developed a tight plan during the exam period to avoid student congestion by preparing guiding panels for the distribution of students to committees and the location of each committee, and alerting students to the need to attend at least an hour before the exam date, in addition to dividing students at the gates, taking into account the distances of social distancing. Between each student and another, students will also be measured by a committee formed from security, civil defense and the Faculty medical center.
She stressed the need to alert students to wear masks when entering from the university gates and during the exam period, and an hour was left between the two exam periods to take the necessary sterilization measures for the committees, and to ventilate the exam committees well, stressing that the committees will be sprayed and sterilized before the start of the first period and between my two periods. Exams are under the supervision of the Faculty’s occupational safety and health officials, in addition to closing food and beverage outlets inside the Faculty campus, cleaning and sterilizing toilets with chlorine and soap constantly, and not allowing students to wait on the Faculty campus after taking the exam in order to observe the policy of social distancing, and the controls will be sterilized daily after Exam ends.
She explained that the insurance plan for the examination process included circulating the instructions for preventive measures to students by preparing panels and placing them in the scattered places in the college and on the official website of the college and on the pages of the departments, and its content is as follows: For your safety during the exam period, please follow the following instructions:
Students must attend at least an hour before the exam date, where the temperature will be measured before entering the college, taking into account the social distances between each student and the other when waiting in front of the college gates to enter, heading to the student committee headquarters immediately upon entering the college campus and waiting for it, the student’s commitment to wear a mask and gloves Since entering the university and college gates and throughout the exam period, it is not allowed to circulate stationery among students during the exam, it is not allowed to circulate the student’s protective tools within the committee (wipes, sterilization materials and gloves), taking into account to bring each student’s water bottle where it will not be circulating any drinks or food inside the committees, taking into account the dismissal of the committees in an orderly manner and without jostling or crowding. Gatherings are prohibited inside the college campus and must leave immediately upon completion of the exam.
