One of a faculty of law staff in Ain Shams university praises the role of political will in the field of women's rights in Egypt

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Research, The Scholarship Welfare Office at Ain Shams University contacted Dr. Yousra Shaaban, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Civil Law, Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, to shed light on the volunteer activities that she undertakes as a high-level ambassador of Ain Shams University in France.

Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University of Graduate Studies and Research, said that these periodic contacts aim to strengthen communication with faculty staff at Ain Shams University who are sent abroad, to benefit from their experiences in enriching the university with new ideas that contribute to the advancement of the university’s level at the international level.

On the other hand, Dr. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the Scholarship Welfare Office at Ain Shams University, stressed the role played by faculty staff sent abroad and achieving integration with the international and local community, through their efforts that allow the idea of cultural cooperation between Egypt and the countries of the world to be consolidated.

In the meeting of the Scholarship Welfare Office with Dr. Yousra Mohamed Mahmoud Ahmed Shaaban, assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, affirmed that she "traveled after obtaining a scholarship from the Egyptian missions to study law at Lyon University in France.", she is one of the active researchers in the field of women's rights in Egypt and the Middle East countries. French television hosted Dr. Yousra to talk about women's rights in Egypt, where she talked about the importance of the role that the political will assumes in Egypt to achieve the goals of political, administrative and economic empowerment of women in the vision of Egypt 2030. She also spoke about her interest in the field of women's rights and her various activities in the Anti-Violence Women Unit and the Legislative Committee in the National Council for women. At the end of her television interview, she expressed the important role of women for the Egyptian woman and the successes she has achieved in recent years.

         
   
         

It is worth noting that Dr. Yousra Shaaban obtained her doctorate from the University of Lyon in France at the beginning of this year, and she is currently conducting practical training that allows the establishment of a research and scientific channel between the Universities of Ain Shams and Lyon. The Ambassador Ehab Badawi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in France, congratulated her on discussing the doctorate, expressing his confidence that she is the best representative of Egypt and the Egyptian woman during her stay in Lyon.

While studying in Lyon, Dr. Yousra also studied a diploma in English law from France and finally she visited the major comparative law institutes in Max Planck, Germany.

In the end, Dr. Yousra expressed her thanks and appreciation to Prof. Dr. President of the University and Prof. Dr. Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Research for their keenness to communicate with her through the Scholarship Welfare Office at the University as one of the faculty staff sent abroad and expressed her happiness to participate in the new ideas that enrich the university community at Ain Shams University.
