The activities of the seventh Young Researchers Forum, at Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, concluded under the patronage of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate and research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
The activities of the forum continued over two days, during which 7 scientific sessions and a session for the innovation and entrepreneurship unit were held in the Faculty, and the sessions witnessed important and effective discussions on various literary and linguistic issues and translation, with the participation of faculty members and graduate students, in addition to participants from the universities of Ahmed Ben Bella and the University of Skikda in Algeria and from the university. The Catholic city of Milan, Italy.
At the conclusion of the forum, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, the activities of the forum and the scientific and intellectual wealth that the sessions witnessed, and her Excellency affirmed the keenness of the Faculty of Al-Alsun to organize such events periodically because it provides opportunities for exchanging views and visions and devising new research ideas for the benefit of the scientific research process in the Faculty and the researchers themselves.
Prof. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, announced the recommendations of the forum, which were represented in several points, namely: increasing applied research and interdisciplinary studies, encouraging young researchers to innovate on the largest scale, especially in the field of human sciences to change the prevailing thinking about a separation between the humanities and innovation, expanding International participation in the forum in order to get acquainted with the scientific curricula and research studies in the universities of other countries and because of their great impact in introducing the Faculty and the university, in addition to the proposal to include the prison experience within the comparative research, as well as the creation of a file for these studies, as well as encouraging young researchers to activate scientific research on comparative literary criticism, expanding the circle of participants is not limited to young researchers, but rather includes a team of experienced experts in order to combine experience with activity and vitality, display research summaries on social networks and academic platforms before the forum so that everyone who wants to know the content of the research papers.
Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, honored the participants in the forum as well as the members of the organizing committee in the graduate studies and research sector in the college.
It should be noted that the Young Researchers Forum has started its activities in its seventh session on Tuesday 30 March under the title "Literature, Language and Translation from Theory to Applied Studies" in the presence of Prof. Saleh Hashem, the former president of the university, and the Egyptian writer and novelist Mansoura Ezz El-Din.
