In continuation of the activities of Anti-Violence and Harassment Unit at Ain Shams University, the unit participated in the general conference of governmental and private units through video conference technology, which was organized by the National Council for Women, where the unit director reviewed what the unit achieved during the last 5 years as the first unit in Egyptian universities established for this purpose to face all forms Violence and harassment within the university's walls, and ways to support the university were reviewed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, as well as technical and material support from the National Council for Women to achieve all the goals of the unit, in addition to discussing ways of cooperation with different universities.
Prof. Dr. Hind Al-Hilali made a number of recommendations, including the importance of supporting the newly established units through the transfer of expertise and logistical and technical support from the Anti-Violence and Harassment Against Women Unit at Ain Shams University to all modern units, especially Damietta University, and also made recommendations to the National Council for Women to conduct workshops to develop the capacities of the legal masters in the units and the difference in Egyptian universities about how to properly handle cases legally, which supports the committee's decision to achieve the principle of equality and transparency.
