Ain Shams University President honors Prof. Dr. Rokaia Shalaby at The Faculty of Girls

The Faculty of Girls at Ain Shams University organized a ceremony honoring Prof. Dr. Rokaia Shalabi for her efforts during her tenure, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Local Development and Education, Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, the former president of the university, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Vice Dean of Environmental Community Service, and the Deans and formers Vice Deans of the faculty, Department Heads and faculty staff.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, praised during his speech at the ceremony the distinguished and effective role that Prof. Dr. Rokaia Shalaby played during the period of her deanship of the faculty, which had the greatest impact on raising the status of the faculty and Ain Shams University, stressing that it was working hard, dedication and sincerely in cooperation with everyone for the sake of Developing the faculty and showing it in a way that befits the oldest and most ancient universities of Ain Shams University, so it was, with all due entitlement, the level of responsibility.

The university president also extended greetings and appreciation to all former deans and agents, praising the efforts they made during the last period, along with the faculty and staff members.

Prof. Dr. Rokaia Shalabi extended sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University for his constant and continuous support for everyone who works with him, and his constant endeavor to raise the level of the young faculty members, and interest in research projects related to community issues, pointing to what Ain Shams University has achieved of tangible progress at all local, regional and global levels, and the university has become a destination for scholars and ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries to conclude more scientific and research cooperation protocols, and to serve researchers in the various faculties of the university.

She thanked all the members of the faculty and university team, stressing that the path to success begins with teamwork, explaining that whoever works at an ancient university such as Ain Shams University is lucky, because it transmits experiences from one generation to the next.

And she emphasized that reaching any position depends on the extent of seeking this position, as the pursuit here is by working for the sake of God Almighty and creativity.

At the end of the ceremony, the faculty presented a shield of honor to Prof. Dr. Rokaia Shalaby for her efforts, giving and achievements for the faculty.
